Is your kid getting carpal tunnel syndrome from the X-box? A pallor in the skin from confining themselves indoor while the sun alights everything outside? A paunch? Here's a fun remedy: The city of Monterey offers a platter of physical and intellectual exercises to help shape kids into healthy beings. They include Teen Work Experience Babysitting, Sports Camp (30 different sports activities), Teen Work Experience Sports Camp, Cheerleading Camp, and Teen Work Experience Cheerleading Camp. Register in advance at Monterey Sports Center. The activities—eight one-week sessions—begin in June. Sponsored by Recreation & Community Services Department.
