Schools from all over Monterey County have entered pieces from students grade 7 to 12 for the Youth Art Competition. The student exhibit will be on display for community viewing from March 2nd to April 28th. This art competition is to give hope to the community and the future of art in school. A reception will also be held to showcase the art and distribute awards among contestants on March 11th. Come enjoy snacks and refreshments at the reception, and support the local teen artists. [JW]
