For those without any interest in drowning in Guinness on "St. Paddy's Day" here's an artful alternative. The Carl Cherry Center hosts a night of music, literature, poetry, and performance, with an Irish theme of course. Taelen Thomas, Elise Rotchford and Michael Lojkovic start their performances at 7pm. Guests can bring their own poetry, and Irish style limericks, to perform on-stage like at an open-mic event during the night. Tickets are limited and run $15 per person; it's a good idea to get your tickets in advance by calling the center at 624-7491. [GS]
