Monterey Symphony at the Steinbeck Institute

Local classical enthusiasts need not worry about making a trip out of town anytime soon—the Monterey Symphony's fifth show of the season arrives with the youthful guest conductor and rising star Ben Wallfisch, who has recently shown his talent in with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, leading the troops. Piano virtuoso John O'Conor will play alongside, and the Monterey Symphony Chorus are on board to add a harmonic, vocal depth to the music of Handel, Beethoven, Brahms and Mozart.
