Calling all golf lovers who have a passion for Monterey County wines. The Monterey County Vintners and Growers Association will host the annual Monterey Wine Country Golf Tournament at the Corral de Tierra Country Club. The site offers perfect terrain for the event with world-class fairways. Participants can expect gifts, gourmet food and Monterey County wine, and an awards party. Golfers can register to play at 375-9400; non-golfers are still invited to participate in the awards reception!
Registration and lunch begin at 11am; Shotgun Start at 12:30pm; reception at 5pm; Corral de Tierra Country Club, 81 Corall de Tierra Road, Salinas. $195 for golfers, reception only, $85 per person. 375-9400.
