33rd California Senior Women's Amateur Championship at Corral de Tierra

All the competitors in this 33rd installment of the Senior Women’s Championship must be over 50 and ready for a three hard fought days of swingin’. Last year’s top flight winner, Tina Barker, scored impressively consistent rounds in the seventies en route to the 2010 title. Corral de Tierra Country Club is located between Salinas and Carmel Valley and is a well-known course among pros, hosting the U.S. Open qualifying. The 80 ladies with the lowest USGA handicap indexes as of May 1, 2011 will make the cut and vie for this year’s title. [JE]
