Capstone Festival at CSUMB

Research presentations, original poetry, oral histories, installation art, photography, performances, tabletop exhibits, multimedia work and computer visualizations are presented by CSUMB otters for their final capstone projects demonstrating their skills, knowledge and abilities developed at the university. Students come from all majors, ranging from the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Department (Psychology, Human Communication, Global Studies) to the Professional Studies Department (Business, Liberal Studies) to the Science, Media Arts and Technology Department (Environmental Science, Biology, Technology and Communication Design). The final exhibition showcases 32 short films created by the Teledramatic Arts and Technology students. Presentations are scattered throughout the campus. And when they graduate it'll be hard to forget the saying, "There's nothing hotter than an otter." [CK]

9-8pm. Thursday; 9-10pm Friday at various locations across campus. Free. A complete schedule is available online at www.csumb.edu/capstone. 582-3653.
