California Roots Festival at the Fairgrounds

In just its second year, these roots already run impressively deep, with more than 30 bands booming from three stages, led by headliners Rebelution, Iration, The Holdup, Tribal Seeds and THRIVE!. While other buzz-worthy bands Hawaii's Ooklah the Mock further fill out the bill, artists doing live paintings, vendors like NorCal Smoke Shop and Twisted Roots and diverse food vendors (including vegan) fill out the grounds, with a surprising family feel—kids under 10 get in free—complementing the Rasta-Cali vibe.
