Dia De Los Muertos at the National Steinbeck Center

Ring in Dia de los Muertos at the Steinbeck Center beginning with a walking procession from Hartnell College (156 Homestead Ave, Salinas) and witness an ensemble of Yaocuauhtil Aztec dancers in a flurry of colors and motion. The chattering cartilage of katrinas and dancing skeletons made by Salinas Young Assembly members, family and friends are there to greet visitors at the door. Dine on pan dulce and hot chocolate to toast the holiday festivities along with live music, a beautiful community altar and stories as told by local children. [TOL]
