Steel Toed Slippers at Carbones

Their first demo was recorded at Stephen Perkin's (of Janes Addiction) private studio, and at the moment have the attention of producers and clubs all over California. They play iconic clubs like the Whiskey A Go-Go, the Roxy, and the Canyon Club. Steel Toed Slippers is on track to be known with their gigs, industry hook ups, and most importantly a fun rock sound influenced by bands like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tom Waits, and the Eagles. Carbones Bar and Billiards hosts this (free) Thursday night show, but you have to be 21 years old to come out and play. STS has a full length album due out in the summer of 2012, and their set-list will be chock-full of what they're currently working on in the studio. [GS]
