The city of Monterey's trotting out the creme de la creme of its art collection at the Monterey Masterworks show. In conjunction with the Oct. 1-2 Art in the Adobes celebration, the Monterey Museum of Art's Pacific Street location will showcase works by Charles Rollo Peters, William Keith, George Inness, and Mary De Neal Morgan, to name just a few of the local legends whose depictions of life on the Central Coast have helped create and illustrate our region's image.
