They already know you're coming, so there is no need to register for the two-day Rota Psychic Fair. For 28 years the fair has been coming to Monterey to feature talks and discussions on the power of crystals and gems, the unseen energy fields surrounding us (yes, just like "the force" that Yoda teaches Luke to harness), and the miracles that come from setting intentions with the mind. One presenter, author James Olson, highlights in his talk "The Whole-Brain Path to Peace," how we might be able to live our lives with greater ease by bringing awareness to the processes of the right and left sides of our brains. Olson presents at 1pm on the Oct. 1st, but the fair features 30 others between Saturday and Sunday. [GS]
