The CPA calls Uelsmann "one of America's most important contemporary photographers" and lands a deep immersion of his work and the man himself, who will lecture before the opening reception and booksigning today. His work, "photomontage," comes from a decades-long career and an admired work ethic. This show, sifted from a body of work 1.000 photographs strong, was curated by Uelsmann's longtime friend and photographer Ted Orland. These lecture/receptions are much cherished insights into some of the best photographers around. [WR]
