The Porsche Museum of Stuttgart-Zuffanhausen, Germany in conjunction with the Revs Insitute for Automotive Research bring over 350 iconic and one-of-a-kind Porsche race cars of decades past back to the legendary 11 turns of Laguna Seca. Among the bad-ass and beautiful machines are a few standouts; like the 1953 Porsche 550 Coupe that started it all—being the first built and raced at Le Mans—and the 1971 Porsche 16-Cylinder, a one and only built specifically for the Can-Am series. It’s said this is the largest Porsche gathering in the world, and it’s right here in Monterey County. [JE]
