The Farm Day Experience at the Monterey County Fairgrounds

As one of the leading agriculture education awareness programs in the nation, this hands-on event is the largest of its kind in the country with industry experts in cattle ranching, salad processing, bee producing and wine growing teaching third graders from around the state about their food and how it's made. Conducted by the Monterey County Agricultural Education Inc., any class, school or district in Monterey County is welcome to attend and volunteers are encouraged to participate in this program which reaches 6500 students annually.
