Rodger Lizaola and Kenny Kane make for a hilarious comedic combination. Originally from Gilroy, Lizaola's stand-up is sharp and viciously funny, with jokes that cut through race and gender issues. "If you watch any future movies—Star Wars, Star Trek, The Matrix—there's no Mexicans. How the hell did we get left out of the future when every Mexican I know has three or four kids?" Kane uses brilliant facial expressions and gesticulations to flavor his routine. The the climax comes in a totally original dance rendition of the "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" song. [NH]
