Shakespeare's Henry VIII at Century Cinemas

Anne Boleyn, the Duke of Buckingham and Thomas Cromwell are among the historical celebrities that make the epilogue of Shakespeare's four-play account of British history. And although Henry VIII leaves behind the bloodshed of Henry IV, there's plenty of drama to go around as accusations of tax evasion, treason and illegitimate marriage fly. The play most likely dates to 1613, the year the Globe Theatre burned down. But a veteran cast performs Henry VIII in a reconstructed Globe, and Arts Alliance Media and National CineMedia sponsor a broadcast from London to screens worldwide. [SR]
