Portland's Loch Lomond, began as frontman Ritchie Young’s solo project. Eventually, the solo outfit grew into a six-piece featuring musicians that can all play at least three different instruments. The best way to describe the band is: a collage of sound that results in a unified entity. Young describes Lomond's new LP, Little Me Will Start a Storm, as "dark and lighthearted." Berklee College of Music alumni Brooke Parrot, opens with an earthy brand of Carole King-inspired folk. [AJ]
