Held over by popular demand, the Chinese Fishing Village exhibit explores the lives of Chinese immigrants who arrived in Pacific Grove in the 1850s and developed the first industrial fishing operation in Monterey. With rare artifacts from archeological excavations, portraits from the early 1900s and accurate model fishing junks, this event is one of the the best places to learn about this unique piece of California history.
