Identity Complex at Carl Cherry Center for the Arts

Professors Gary Quinonez and Jamie Dagdigian step out of their cozy classrooms at MPC to show that some teachers both teach and do what they preach. Identity Complex, an exhibit featuring their work, opens at the Carl Cherry Center for the Arts on April 6th through May 18th. Both sculptors will attend to meet art lovers, share light refreshments, and say a few words about their pieces. Working in mixed media, the exhibit showcases pieces patched together, or made from, objects that may have been deemed useless by others. Quinonez and Dagdidian's works have the ability to not only provoke the imagination into a creative fervor, but also to cue in on cultural subtleties from the past and present, which may inadvertently offer a glimpse into the future.
