Some folks collect small mementos: stamps, shot glasses and the like. Others can afford most costly collections: cars, houses and boats come to mind. But what about the person who collects nothing at all, and what if they collect a whole lot of it? That's exactly what William Davies King has done. The author of the memoir Collections of Nothing has pondered deeply on what the act of collecting really means. He'll be at PGMNH today for a lecture, Collection Obsession. Bring your inner hoarder along for the ride.
3pm. Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History, 165 Forest Ave., Pacific Grove. $5/general public; Museum members/free. 648-5718.
