Mark Benson thought his tribute to The Beatles was just going to be a short-lived project that would only appeal to baby boomers at class reunions. But the homage to the Fab Four ended up being something much bigger: They've played Carnegie Hall ten times and sold out Red Rocks in Colorado six years in a row. Down to the mop-top haircuts and black skinny ties, the outfit looks like John, Paul, George and Ringo circa 1964. More importantly, they also sound like them. “This music is the absolute common denominator for almost any situation,” Benson says. [AJ]
