Salinas Valley Half Marathon at Soledad Mission

After doing a couple laps and carb loading at the Health and Fitness Expo at Hartnell College on Friday, stretch your hamstrings for Saturday's race at Soledad Mission. The 13.1 mile race finishes at Pessango Winery outside of Gonzales where a finish festival awaits with massages, first aid, BBQ lunch and a wine glass for tasting Salinas wineries. All runners receive medals, and the fastest male and female overall, and the top three in each age category will be awarded trophies. Busses shuttle from Soledad High School to the mission. [JB]
