This exhibition is subtitled "Diaries of a woman going through the confusing mental effects of chemo therapy." That woman is Sand City artist Susan "Suzka" Collins and in her own words, this is where she began her artistic journey through battling breast cancer: "All previous work seemed pointless. I was disconnected from 'color' which was always delightfully present in all my pieces. Enough. I took all my old paintings and put a single coat of white paint over the surface. It was exhilarating." She shows this work during West End Celebration. [WR]
