One of the most extensively touring chamber trios, Poulenc has mastered a diverse repertoire of contemporary and classic chamber music for piano, oboe and bassoon. For the Sunset Center they play an eclectic section of songs including their namesake Francis Poulenc's sweetly melancholic trio, Beethoven, Glinka, and Shostakovich's beautiful Romance, from "The Gadfly", finishing with a lively piece from Previn, displaying the trio's elegant and rich style.
