The 51st annual holiday choral concert puts a humorous spin on the plethora of seasonal song with performances of "She Goes Shopping for Gucci" and "The 12 Days After Christmas," with more faithful visitations of tunes like Z. Randall Stroop's ""All My Heart, On This Night Rejoices!" and the exuberant "Gloria" by John Rutter, accompanied by brass and percussion. It's an eclectic concert by the Monterey Peninsula Voices, formerly the Monterey Peninsula Choral Society, that plays in Carmel on Dec. 18 and moves to Hollister's St. Benedict's on Dec. 21. [WR]
