To celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Monterey Pop Festival, MoM Director and Curator, Lisa Coscino partnered with "Perfect Haze" authors Harvey and Kenneth Kubernick, "The Hippie Dictionary" author John McCleary and Grateful Dead archivist Nicholas Meriwether, to put together an interactive array of films, concerts, lectures, poetry readings and panel discussions all in the name of one of the most pivotal music events of the past 50 years. “If we had, we would have known it was impossible to put together, in two months, a three-day music festival with the most-established, the up-and-coming, and the unknown," Michelle Phillips of the Mamas and the Papas said. But it wasn't. [Aj]
