Activities for Kids at Hilltop Park Center

Monterey Recreation has assembled a whole panalopy of physical and cultural introductory activities for kids, including three 6-week sessions of ballet for kindergartners to first graders, taught by Carol Richmond, that meet on Wednesday starting Jan. 9 ($60/Monterey resident, $78/nonresident); two 6-week sessions of pottery for children 8-16 taught by Elise Chezem on Mondays and Wednesdays ($80/Monterey resident, $104/nonresident); two 6-week sessions of theater for kids 5-7 years old on Fridays, starting Jan. 11 ($78/nonresident, $60/Monterey resident); 4 weeks of something called polar play on Wednesdays starting Jan. 9 for kids 3-6 ($26/Monterey resident, $34/nonresident); and four 4-week sessions of tap for children 7-12 on Thursdays starting Jan. 17 ($21-$27/Monterey resident, $28-$36/nonresident).
