Folkrock singer/songwriter and guitarist, John Batdorf has “survived many careers in one lifetime.” John started out as a recording artist when he and former band-mate Mark Rodney landed a deal with Atlantic Records. After Batdorf and Rodney parted ways, John toured the country with a group called Silver, produced a number of albums, and eventually became a top L.A. studio session singer, promoting music with a variety of clients. John has also worked as composer for such television shows as “Touched By An Angel” and “Promised Land.” John recently released a new CD with Mark Rodney, revisiting many of their great songs from the 70s, as well as his fourth solo album, “One Last Wish.” John will perform his original, highly acclaimed vocal harmonies and acoustic guitar at The Works this Saturday.
