23rd Annual Whale of an Art Show at Custom House Plaza

The event at the Plaza isn't just about migratory mammals. The outdoor exhibition features recent creations from contemporary California artists for the 23rd consecutive year, including works of photography, paintings, cartoons, and fashion jewelry. Austrian-born classical guitarist and Monterey resident Terrence Farrell will preview his latest CD on the heels of his last work entitled "Here Comes the Sun," which put his own spin on Beatles' favorites. Aryeh Frankfurter - who once performed for Prince Charles and Lady Camilla Parker Bowles - works his magic on a choice of harp, keyed fiddle, violin, viola, and cello. The historic Customs House frames the gallery which sits adjacent to the waterfront trail, opposite fisherman's wharf.
