The local Brazilian-style drum and dance troupe the Sambahemians return home to Chautauqua Hall, the place where almost a decade ago the group's members met at a drumming class and then decided to start making magic together. A subsequent trip to Brazil further honed their samba skills, and they are still thumping as hard as ever. The Dance Jam is a weekly dance celebration at Chautauqua that is equal parts gyration and meditation, and no one can get those hips shaking, and the beats flowing, better than the Sambahemians. [DS]
