There's a gray whale that's been beached on Forest Avenue for 29 years. Thankfully, the beloved Sandy isn't a tragic result of rough weather or poor navigation. She's a life-sized statue that has become one of Pacific Grove's most lovable monuments. This birthday party celebrates the three decades she's spent in front of the Natural History Museum. Oh, there will be cake.
