The first film featured in this four-part series focusing on Woody Allen's more serious films, Crimes and Misdemeanors, delves into a somewhat dark premise: getting away with murder. In addition to Allen, the ensemble cast includes Martin Landau, Mia Farrow, Anjelica Huston, Jerry Orbach, Alan Alda, Sam Waterston and Joanna Gleason. Film historian Malcolm Weintraub will be on hand to offer an in depth look into the film as well as the behind-the-scenes story. [AJ]
