Even music legends like David J from Bauhaus has used Kickstarter, an online way of collecting money to fund creative endeavors, to produce his latest album. San Francisco's Eliza Rickman netted over $12,000 from her own Kickstarter fund to create her first full length album. The impressive score may be due in part to songs like "Cinnamon Rose," a quirky pop number with her vocals and the music box sounds of a toy piano. [ST]
