Mari Kloeppel Exhibit and Talk at the Monterey Museum of Art

Local artist Mari Kloeppel gives a talk accompanied by a visual presentation of her oil paintings. Her talk includes references to both her inspiration for her works as well as her technique. The highly detailed and realistic works of art depicting hawks, horses, rabbits, and bulls, are executed in a style reminiscent of the Dutch masters from the late Renaissance period in which hair, fur, feathers and other delicate features of the subjects of the oil paintings achieve an almost photographic quality.
