The prolific painter, printmaker and longtime teacher of art discusses his most recent body of work exploring the beauty and mystery inherent in the natural world. Roehl's work is inspired by early 20th century California landscape paintings. The program, Monterey Now: Paul Roehl, features an interview conducted by Assistant Curator Helaine Glick, a question and answer session and an opportunity to view the Santa Cruz artist's work. Monterey Now is an exhibition series presenting Monterey Bay Area artists who have made significant contributions to the visual arts, regionally as well as nationally.
