Nathanael Pangrazio at All Saints' Episcopal Church

His story reads like a modern version of the life of Mozart. As a 15 year old, he started "Cante Libre", a group of amateur and professional musicians that performed classical pieces at the San Carlos Cathedral in Monterey. Before the age of 18 he produced original compositions for vocalists "I Cantori" and the Carmel Bach Festival. Now in his twenties, the local composer returns to the peninsula for an evening concert, fresh on the heels of an Emmy nomination. The concert will feature Pangrazio's works for soprano, cello, violin and piano with a choral piece as the finale. While his passion for classical melodies and his early boyhood success may prompt comparison to Mozart, he differs in at least one crucial way: He's alive and his future appears boundless.[RP]
