Enroute to Carnegie Hall, The Israeli Chamber Project will perform its award winning repertoire as a part The Carmel Music Society’s 85th Season of Musical Excellence. Based in Israel and New York, this dual educational outreach program and chamber music society unites distinguished, young musicians and provides an outlet for its members to give back to the communities where their musical education began. Since its 2008 inception, the ICP has embarked upon several semiannual tours of Israel, premiering throughout Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, as well as in more remote cities where chamber music performances are unfortunately rare. The program has also partnered with conservatories across the country to provide lessons and master classes to students of all cultural and economic backgrounds. An essential part of the ICP’s mission is to encourage and support aspiring Israeli composers by commissioning works for the esteemed ensemble.
