Free January Events at Monterey Sports Center

They bill it as a "great way to being the New Year" and we think they're right. This month they offer a free assortment of healthful stuff. 4-7pm Jan. 10 one can learn about the PRIMAFIT program at the Prima Heart Open House. 6:45pm Jan. 13 is free "hot hula," at which you're encouraged to bring a friend. 7-10am and 4-7pm Jan. 16 and 30, get free body fat testing, blood pressure check and BMI (body mass index). On Jan. 18 they offer zumba for kids 4-7 (3:45-4:25pm) and 7-12 (4:30-5:15pm); and on Jan. 26, 4:15-5:15PM it's zumba for adults (again, one can bring a friend).
