"Korea and the Militarization of the Asia Pacific" at The Peace Resource Center

Assistant Professor of Asian American Literature at UC Santa Cruz and a fellow at the Korea Policy Institute, Christine Hong, will give a lecture about the militarization of the Asia Pacific. Ms. Hong is a committee member of the Alliance of Scholars Concerned about Korea, as well as a member of the National Campaign to End the Korean War, a coalition of faith-based, human rights, veterans, and Korean American community groups whose goal is promoting peace and reconciliation between the American people and Korea. Refreshments will be served at 6pm, and the presentation will begin at 7pm, followed by a question and answer period. This free event is sponsored by the Peace Coalition of Monterey County. Donations are welcome
