Guitarist and songwriter, Mike Beck, doesn’t just sound like a cowboy, he is one. His daytime job as working cowboy in Carmel Valley inspires his rambling lyrics and folk and Americana style music. The lyrics of his quintessential song, “Life of a Buckaroo,” is reminiscent of his cowboy life-campfires, horses, and bacon-but maintains an electric, rock-and-roll sound. The guitar band comprised of Mike Beck and The Bohemian Saints perform at the Pacific Grove Art. Expect a crowd, KPIG listeners are just one group that makes up the band’s loyal fan base.[KS]
