While international athletes are warming up for the 2012 Olympic Games in London, 113 local singers will be working out their vocal chords. As part of the American delegation to Olympics, the Monterey Peninsula Choral Society embarks on a 12-show circuit in Europe. They've prepared a different set list for each venue: contemporary and pop for the London Live stage, and spiritual music for Canterbury Cathedral and Westminster Abbey. The geographic range of these global tunes is as diverse as olympic athletes. They'll sing a smattering of each genre in this send-off show before their olympic tour. [SR]
