To experience the lighter side of the economic downturn—and there is one, thanks to comic playwright Joe Simonelli and the ever-provacative folks at Paper Wing Theatre—try a night out at the theater. Specifically, a night out in which four senior women plan to relieve themselves of financial hardship forever by launching a crafty money-making scheme: a naughty phone sex line. Balancing obscenity with drier subjects like social security checks keeps this play believable, but doesn't detract from its raucous, crowd-pleasing script that ventures from Viagra jokes to joblessness.
