Father's Day gets the choral treatment with Aria Women's Choir's "Pops" concert. The Peninsula's newest choir continues its inaugural season—and shows off its lighter side—with a concert which ranges from jazz to musical theater and even into a number from the hit TV show SMASH. Highlights include Dave and Iola Brubeck's "Take Five," Henry Mancini's theme from The Pink Panther and Manhattan Transfer's Java Jive. In the second act, Aria draws from Broadway favorites including Rent, Wicked, Hair, Little Shop of Horrors, and Sister Act. Toe-tapping, finger-snapping and singing along encouraged (and inevitable).
