Big Sur's Henry MIller Memorial Library hosts an afternoon of poetry, art, and music. "Psyche of Mirrors: A Promenade of Portraits" is Carolyn Mary Kleefeld's eleventh book to be published, and from which she will read selections and share her thoughts on the art included in the pages with a slideshow; some of her originals will also be on display. To join in the celebration of this publication, she will be accompanied by guitarist Martin Shears. From the location-appropriate titled "Poems From A Cabin on Big Sur," poet Peter Thabit Jones will read his work from when he lived in Big Sur, and other pieces to complement Kleefeld's and Shears' presentations. The event is free, but the HMML staff appreciates donations of all sizes. There will be light refreshments. [GS]
