Decorated Tree: An Adventure with Plant Galls at P.G. Museum of Natural History

Author and naturalist Ron Russo speaks at the California Native Plant Society-Monterey Bay Chapter meeting and program on plant galls, which form in relationship to insects over millions of years and look wildly diverse, mimicking sea urchins, vases, golf balls and other shapes. Oak trees, in particular, support more than 200 species of tiny gall wasps.
