Hot fire rains down in the form of West Coast rhymes and heavy beats thump to make the crowd jump and sweat. Salinas' Fox Theater is the spot Saturday night for a gathering of emcees who've been keeping the rap game in California on the map. None other than Too $hort headlines the evening, which features the talents of, among others, Keak da Sneak, J Diggs, Hoodstarz, and DJ Louie stands at the turntables to mix beats. Too $hort, a legend in hip hop, is a multi-platinum artist who has been putting out albums since 1983 and has worked with seemingly every major rap artist in the industry. Tickets can be purchased at the Fox Theater, New Image Fashion (Seaside), The DJ Booth (Salinas), LuLu's Fiesta Liquor (Watsonville), Rock Zone (Gilroy), and Only the Honorable Tattoo (Hollister).
