"Playground of Dreams", an independent feature film written and directed by Shireen Daryadel, tells the story of a doctor's journey of understanding his traumatic childhood, and his experience with music as a form of expression. Through his relationships with an artist, a poet, and a dancer who he meets at a tarven in San Francisco, he is able to unwravel the complex web of his past. The story itself is a fusion of two worlds, of poetry and imagery, of past and present, of linear and spiral, and of logical and spiritual. Prior to the screening, a "Filmmaker's Reception" including the director and cast is held at the Outdoor Theater. WIth a Tango presentation on stage before the film. Afterwards, the director takes part in an interactive Q & A with the audience. MB
