Lifeline Art Exhibit share’s a day of hands on learning and entertainment. Lifeline Art Exhibit advocate’s to protect the rights of children and human dignity. Lifeline collaborated with Family Service Organizations to address the needs of children. Community Day is designed to focus attention on the welfare and care of children. Services are offered to abused and neglected children, and families that are under stress that want to join with after school art programs. Participants are encouraged to bring gently used books for a book exchange. Other events consist of making paper dolls, adding old family neckties to an outdoor boat sculpture, and listen to storytellers. Entertainment and hands on learning provided by the Youth Arts Collective, Monterey Museum of Arts Council of Monterey County, and Museum’s Wheelie Mobilee. Sample food will be served by aspiring young chefs from Rancho Cielo, and enjoy music by the Youth Orchestra of Salinas. Lifeline Art Exhibit’s grand opening on Oct. 26 advocate’s human right’s for everyone. [BH]
