Burkholder will speak on subjects such as how photography began, where it is now, and where it might be when digital imaging itself is an outdated as flash powder. The lecture will focus on his personal journey over the past four decades while illustrating technology, software and creativity as intrinsic links to classic photography. Burkholder uses digital technology to build images that look and feel real. This event is open to the public.
